Cancellation Policy

At Solarvac Energy, we understand that circumstances may change. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which you may cancel an order and the conditions that apply, in line with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), No. 68 of 2008.

1. Order Cancellation Before Dispatch

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided it has not yet been dispatched.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to info@solarvacenergy.com.
A full refund will be issued if the order is cancelled within this window and has not yet been prepared for dispatch.

2. Orders Cancelled After Dispatch

If the order has already been dispatched:

You may still request a cancellation, but the item must be returned in its original, unused condition and packaging.
Return shipping will be at your own cost unless the product was defective or supplied in error.
A handling or restocking fee of up to 15% may apply.

3. Non-Cancellable Items

The following orders may not be cancelled once processed or shipped:

Custom-built systems or products made to order
Special import items not held in regular stock
Clearance or discounted items marked “final sale”

4. Late or Missed Payments

If we do not receive payment or proof of payment within 48 hours of placing an order, the order may be automatically cancelled unless prior arrangements have been made.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds for cancelled orders will be processed within 5–10 business days using the original method of payment. Proof of banking details may be required in the case of EFT refunds.

6. Legal Rights

This policy does not override your rights under the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa, which ensures fair treatment and cancellation rights for consumers under specific conditions.
